Josh Holiday was the electrical technician on board of the Hammersley.
Personal life[]
At the end of Season 1, Holiday began a relationship with the ship's Navigator, Nicole Caetano. They kept their relationship secret due to the Navy's non-fraternization rules regarding personnel posted aboard the same vessel. In the second series, he doesn't know that the XO knows about his relationship with Nikki, and he is determined to continue the relationship. As of the first episode of the third season of Sea Patrol, he died during a diving expedition outside of the navy. This was later to be found to have been murder, as Campbell Fulton altered the oxygen supply on the dive equipment and killed all eight divers. Before his death, ET was engaged to his co-worker, Nikki Caetano. He proposed shortly before his death.
