Sea Patrol 3: Red Gold is the third season in the Australian Drama Series, Sea Patrol.


Series 3 is centred on the fictitious Red Reef, where oil and gas rigs lie adjacent to exotic coral formations. The series also deals with the death of a main character (ET) and the investigation of his death. The series also gains a new character, Leo "2Dads" Kosov-Meyer.

# Title Plot
1 Catch and Release HMAS Hammersley is dragged into a web of murder, piracy and eco-terrorism, when valuable "Red Gold" coral is stolen from a dive boat. Then the crew must face an obsessed vigilante, who kidnaps two of their crew. The crew loses one of their own.
2 Monkey Business Pirates take Nikki, Leo and Charge hostage. However, Nikki is close to breaking point, following the death of her fiance. Hammersley gets a new crewmate who steals a monkey causing his crew danger.
3 China Dolls Spider goes undercover to expose a sex-slave racket operating off the Australian coast. Swain is forced to perform an emergency childbirth at sea when an illegal immigrant goes into early labour. Also, Kate goes beyond the call of duty to unite a refugee baby with her missing family.
4 Guns Mike and Spider are taken hostage during a shoot-out with weapons smugglers. Kate fears her past relationship with Mike will become public knowledge. The Hammersley rescues a former Navy officer lost at sea, with shocking consequences for the crew.
